Aqua Icelander

Returning to training after an injury can cause more damage if not done with the proper equipment. The Aqua Icelander compliments traditional training methods to create diversity in training.

The Aqua Icelander offers a safe and effective solution to condition your horse, and is used by elite competitors to train top-performing horses. The Aqua Icelander utilizes a submerged treadmill that eases the concussive nature of traditional training, allowing horses to increase their fitness without the fear of injury.

ECB Cold Leg Spa

The ECB Cold Leg Spa is a self-contained cold salt hydrotherapy unit used to prevent and treat lower leg injuries in horses. The spa is aerated and chilled to a constant 37 degrees Fahrenheit.

The hyper-cooled saltwater reduces inflammation and reduces the limbs’ temperature. As the leg gradually re-warms after a 10-minute treatment, the blood flow gently increases to the affected area.

The soothing salt solutions act as a hypertonic poultice, reducing heat while having a natural healing affect on wounds.

EquiPulse

The EquiPulse is a PEMF (Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field) therapy device which is safe, effective and non-invasive to animals.

The EquiPulse method of action is that it uses electrical energy to direct a series of magnetic pulses through injured or damaged tissue to help stimulate cellular repair.

EquiPulse helps increase blood flow, improves circulation, stimulates the lymphatic system, enhances muscle tone and relaxes muscle spasms.

EquiVibe/Solarium

The EquiVibe provides whole body vertical vibration that helps increase blood circulation. This allows for greater oxygenation of tissue, increased flexibility and bone density, as well as a faster recovery time. A horse confined to stall rest can have muscles stimulated without work.

The solarium is a useful piece of therapy equipment that uses short-waved infrared heat to help relax muscles and increase Vitamin D levels. The solarium is a very beneficial pre- and post-performance therapy. It is very relaxing for the animal. In addition, it reduces healing time.

These two pieces of equipment are paired together to create the ultimate experience for your horse.

Therapeutic Ultrasound

The therapeutic ultrasound is a method of stimulating the tissue beneath the skin’s surface using very high frequency sound waves to speed up recovery. The ultrasound increases targeted blood flow to compromised tissue.

It is also a gentle massage to muscles and tendons or ligaments helping to soften scar tissue and allow a stronger recovery. The physical stimulation appears to enhance cellular repair and decrease inflammation to the affected area. It is especially helpful for soft tissue injuries.
